Foucault it is correct on by saying that there has been many
mistakes when incomes to sentencing a person in jail. The purpose of the
punishment and a jail sentence was to stop crimes but then again crimes have
been increasing each year. The prisons do not help the inmate it just makes
them worst, they do not rehabilitate they get angry because they got caught.
Foucault also says there are ways to prevent those crimes and I completely
agree with him. Measures should be taken
into consideration when it comes to the jails and sentencing. Today we see
mothers killing their own children and getting away with it.
